Kristi McKinney has a sharp mind for government. The daughter of former School Board member Gene Katsanis, her passion for politics and government grew through her years of watching her dad promote better education.

Fully supports the Kenner Police and Fire Departments to provide funding for equipment, education and better pay

Sponsors and attends city-sponsored and community-sponsored events to raise money for schools and local causes

Worked with Administration and City Council colleagues to fund various capital projects throughout the city, including the Vintage Drive and Chateau Boulevard restriping project and the upgrade to the Muss Bertolino PA system
